Ahhh, I can't express in words how good it feels to say that! We closed on our house on October 9th and that night we got busy prepping to put a fresh coat of paint on things.....
Before!
This will give you an idea of how bad the trim needed some love!
Jeremy aged pretty fast during the week 😂
It was a very long process. Painting is not for the faint of heart. We all put in long days and nights to take advantage of the empty house and the ability to paint it before our stuff filled it up. We SO appreciate each and every person who helped us get to this point.....here we are after!
(Phoebe has a kitty door!)
The previous owners graciously left us their cat tower since they had no place to put it in their new house!
And another huge thank you to everyone who helped us reach this next phase. We had an uneventful moving day on Saturday, October 19th. I led the caravan of vehicles, trucks & trailers to the house and started crying as we pulled into the driveway. It feels so, so good to be home.
We painted pumpkins for both Grandparents while we were staying with the Thomas', so painting some for our new house was one of the first things we HAD to do!
We had to tape up Phoebe's cat door because she isn't used to how it works just yet and is slightly scared of it squishing her lol
If the rest of the house looks super put together, don't worry.....
The boys have bunkbeds coming from Great-Grandpa!
And then there's this room....😯
(And before you ask, it was not left pink for any reason. We don't need it right now so we just left it alone)
I get an office! 🙌
And then there's THIS room..... 😍😍😍
Other than being afraid of her door, Phoebe is setting in nicely.....
and giving me a heart attack! LOL
If you know me at all, you know how much skies mean to me. They are those "AWE-some God" moments for me that just make me stop in my tracks. And the skies here are so, so good. Right in my back yard.
There are no words to say how good it feels to finally be home after this journey that began at the end of March. But there also are no words to thank each and every person who helped us get to this point, most of all our parents. They both let us live in their space for more time than any of us had planned on and the immeasurable amount of help, love, support and advice.....we wouldn't be here today without them 💕
