The rest of December!

We had two new Advent's to do this year! Usborne came out with a book advent and sent one to each of us leaders. I also got the boys a Jesse tree which we really enjoyed! We started our Christmas Eve tradition to bring the focus of the season back in, but this advent really stepped it up!

Between Kylie and Nala, we didn't really want to have the tree down in the main living space. Jeremy thought the office would be perfect - right next to the toy room for Christmas morning!

This girl loves her pup!!!

I became an Usborne rep to make my being a SAHM less financially stressful. Which means that I don't like to do events away from the home: in-home parties and book fairs, etc. I've dabbled in fundraisers and such before, but this year I did something I've never done before! I set a huge goal - and met it! I was able to get every child in the St. Lawrence foster care system sponsored so that they could each receive a new book for the holidays! It was an incredible project, very humbling and I look forward to doing it every year!

Although this wasn't Kylie's first Christmas, it felt like it! At least the first one that we were able to see the magic light up in her eyes! She LOVED the tree (and still does...yes, it's still up)

14 months in and they are all still smitten!

I think the boy's favorite part of a tree is the candy!

We didn't get that much snow in December, but we did have some terrible wind storms. Our playset didn't make it.....it got blown away a second time since this and is in even worse shape.....

I swear she rubs food all over herself
at dinner just so she can take a bath!

From 2020-2021

They couldn't see what was in the boxes but they enjoyed the packaging!

My joint never did heal on it's own, after being in the boot for 3 months, so I had surgery the week before Christmas!

It took me the longest time to figure out what she was doing, but Kylie started stomping around like she has a boot on 😂
Still trying to capture that one!

Having surgery was one of the hardest things I've done, especially since I had to be alone - but I have the best husband!

School projects!

Christmas cookies!

Kylie has had a rough go of it the past month!

Seeing if we can get bean seeds to sprout!

Lots of fun with new toys!

When your child won't let you cook dinner.....

This is what Saturday mornings look like! Kylie usually wakes up first and she joins us in bed to look out the window until bubs get up!

Kylie's first time playing in the snow!

Stocking stuffers!

She loved it!

I don't think I took any pictures on New Years Eve.....Jeremy and I ordered Chinese food after the kids went to bed and continued binging Blue Bloods until about 11:45 when we turned on the ball drop!

Our 2022 has started off a little shaky, but we look forward to what the year has in store for us and pray that yours is blessed with love, friends, family and wonderful memories!
