December Part 2 ~

Time for fun with gifts!

I can't even.......

Breakfast feast!

The boys had "creature cards" on their list which was a subscription offer - but I couldn't guarantee they wouldn't get the same cards & there were mythical creatures involved that they didn't want - so I found a better option online as a huge one-time set.....

New lego fun - even though they can't show the "fun"on their faces!

Then Phase 2 showed up!

Look at her toes!

One loved Beba right here!

Rock tumbler gems & a beautiful keepsake box!

In preparation of the new room changes which involves putting their Barbie house in their room, we got Mia her first additions!

They are so hard to buy for!
But after googling "what do you get your parents who have everything?" "what do you get your parents who have done so much for you?" "what do you get your parents who love wine?" "what do you get your parents who love puzzles?"
- I found the perfect gift! LOL

Taking after her brothers, this girl can CRUSH some legos!

Four generations!

🎄❤

The next day we did something we've never done before and chucked the tree! It hadn't drank any water since the third day we got it, Nala was making a mess of it and with our room renovations, we needed space!

Phase 1 - Spackle!

This toy room was destroyed LOL

Temporary toy space.....

This dinner with my hubby after the kids are in bed.....trumps a lit Christmas tree & coffee!

Phase 2 - they picked their color and coat one went on!
(actually phase 2 was primer 😜)

Seth trying not to smile, because that isn't allowed for pictures, ya know!

Phase 3 - second coat!
"Hey babe, will you take a picture of the kids?" 😂

Meanwhile.......

Setting up new toyroom storage!

The boys worked SO HARD those few days!

Time for their room furniture!

I didn't know this dresser was fabric (although for the price tag I should have known) until we opened the box & the return window had closed since we snagged all of this stuff on prime day. All I saw was the picture of wood and the EPIC reviews.....

WOW - I'm so impressed! They have a flower design I plan on getting the girls when they need new ones!

The move began!

Which led to the next phase of room renovations!

Taking the crib down was harder than we anticipated or even thought of. This crib has had all four kids in it and will never have another! I have a project for Jeremy all picked out 😉

Their room downstairs getting emptied.....

The girls did so good, practically being alone for a few days, attention wise.....

Here we go!

New toyroom! I can't believe how empty it seems LOL

& the boys!

That night, my FB memories told me that 2 years prior on that same day, Kylie got moved out of her crib into her toddler bed! Crazy that we did the bunk beds on the same day two years later!

With barbie house out of our room, we got dresser "upgrades" and our space back!

As if the room transition wasn't growing up enough - Kylie had two wiggly teeth over break and it was time to encourage one to let go!

New Year's Day breakfast!

Our eagles had a little snack in the field! 😍

We ended break with a theater trip for Zootopia 2.....

.....a new setup for the boys' room.....

& Miss Independent keeping Bompa's fire stoked while they were away!

We hope your holiday season filled your hearts & bellies and your New Year left you rejuvenated and feeling hopeful for the blank slate ahead!
