We woke the kids up at 5am and hit the road! Our first destination was Chick Fil A for breakfast!
We survived on silliness, movies and 734 "are we there yet"s!
We beeped at Aunt Sami & Cody!
& we knew we had made it!
Day 1 we hit the water park and honestly it was kind of a bust. Satan was working hard to steal our joy with long lines and a toddler that doesn't like water, but the evening came for a beautiful reset ❤
Night 1 was Cain!
I'm not going to caption every video because they would all say the same thing. It's absolutely indescribable to try and put words to the experience of watching your kids dance and worship the Lord to the capacity they do at a live concert. The amount of joy I felt and the amount of times my eyes were filled with tears.......
The girls never made it to the end of each night ❤
(full transparency, this pose started out as a fit and then we realized she hadn't moved in a while and found her fast asleep)
First she's sour, then she's sweet!
Mia's first big ride! She had NO FEAR whatsoever.
Anything she was tall enough to ride, she jumped on and 9 times out of 10 she would put her hands in the air!
She was CRUSHED when she couldn't ride the big swings, so we were tickled to find little ones!
Jeremy and I had waited in line for the Viper with the boys for their first roller coaster, but it ended up getting shut down so we went over to the Boomerang. It was terrible y'all. Parent fail for that being their first LOL I also almost lost my biscuits. I was nervous that they were done with roller coasters forever, which it did turn them off a bit, but this one won!
Night two - Leanna Crawford!
The whole reason I came (jkš) ~
These shots are from my parents who were sitting under the tent š
(Thanks to my hubby for capturing all these moments!)
Then Josiah Queen!
This is the video I could watch 10,000 times. The ONE song Lucas wanted him to play was Demons and at the start of every song he held his breath waiting for it. I'm SO happy I recorded his encore moment.......
Making their own breakfast at the AirBnb ~
Then it was time to hit all our favorite rides
and anything we hadn't gotten to do yet!
Traveled to Buffalo to see my high-school best friend
who lives 10 minutes from me LOL
Kylie found a roller coaster just her size!
While Mia & I rode some bees!
Mia had to join!
The boys needed the swings again!
While Bompa and I waited in line for our front seat ride!
Jeremy joked as he was trying to make it over in time to see us, that he knew we weren't on it yet because he couldn't hear me screaming š
Kylie's souvenir ❤
I told her it was perfect to remind her that we listened to the music and she said "and I'll remember Jesus died on the cross for me!" ❤
I'm not sure if the cheesepuffs or music were hitting harder š
We found my brothers doppleganger!
Goodbye breakfast ❤
It wasn't REALLY a goodbye since we live in the same town, though! Thankful for my parents & my beautiful little family! What memories ❤
