Newborn Photo Shoot

I am incredibly blessed to have both a sister and sister-in-law with amazing photography skills! We had a newborn session scheduled but it ended up falling through so I started to research photographers in the area and I couldn't believe the prices. I definitely wanted to have some precious pictures of our little guy other than just the candid ones we would take every day, but there was no way I could justify the prices. Then I got the bright idea that my sister was on her way to SC and as long as Seth cooperated, she and I could totally pull of a cute photo shoot with him. So, when he was just 5 days old, that's just what we did! Prepare yourself for cuteness overload!

Look how little he is!

Already cuddling with his puppy...

My Aunt made him this beautiful blanket and I just happened to have the perfect size basket hanging out in my closet!

Thank you Aunt Lana for the perfect sign!

While we were at the hospital a volunteer came around and gave us this little hat that she made! Too sweet!

Curled up with Aunt Amanda's blankey...

"No more pictures mama!"

And my blankey that matches my Dada's...

Teaching him young!

Our happy little family <3

"Let me back in Mama!"

How is it possible that our baby boy will be ONE MONTH next week!?!?

Gramma & Bompa

I have no idea what I would have done without my mom here the past 3 weeks. There was talk of her leaving with my sister after the first week and coming back down with my dad for another short visit, but I am so glad Jeremy and I told her we wanted her to stay. I'm sure things would have been just fine just the three of us, but I can't tell you how great it was to have her here to bounce things off of, to reassure me that I was doing things right, help me out with things got a little rocky and tell me everything would be okay! She even got up with me for every feeding. There was a time in my life that my relationship with my mom was a bit rocky, but it came back stronger than it ever was and I am beyond grateful for that - and for her.

Gramma was the best at mat and tummy time!

Lots of things to talk about...

She helped us get Seth to LOVE his baths!

And was the best story teller...

Then Bompa came and the fun continued!

Skyping with cousin Daniel for his birthday...

Oh the positions he enjoys....LOL

Bompa enjoys big boys more than babies since they aren't as fragile, but we captured him lovin' on Seth!

Some of my favorites...

Not only did she teach Seth a lot while she was here, she also showed me the greatness of Gelato...
(something I really didn't need to know about)

We love "Dramma" (why does everything with a 'G' become a 'D' in baby talk?) and Bompa and can NOT wait to see them again. I don't want time to go by quickly with Seth, he is already growing way too fast, but I already can't wait for Christmas to get here!

Thanks again Mom & Dad <3
