Official 9-months
Seriously, one week before his 10 month "birthday".....I am awful. I was just going to skip it, but I couldn't let myself get away with that. I think I have a pretty good "excuse" though?
Anyways - I took our little man to the Doctors for his 9-month well visit. He weighed in at 20 pounds 1 ounce (he weighed 15 pounds 4 ounces at 6 months and we went from being in the 8th percentile to the 57th) and was 28 and 3/4 inches long (he was 27 inches long at 6 months and we went from the 57th percentile to the 65th). His doctor was happy with everything she saw and heard. His eating schedule is right on target and she told me to keep it up until his birthday. She asked me if he was crawling yet and I kind of laughed - how about almost walking?

This kid has my heart.....it's an overwhelming feeling sometimes and I just couldn't me more thankful for the life I've been given and the blessing of being his Mom.

How things are coming along....
We moved in on Saturday and Sunday morning I got busy in the kitchen. I couldn't stand not having it put together, not being able to cook, nothing. After getting that somewhat put together so we can at least live out of it, I set off for the bathrooms. I got some baskets from Target since I don't have medicine cabinets here, so we have everything organized in our huge linen closet. After accomplishing those things, I kind of just sat here and looked around. There were boxes piled in the dining room, in our room and in the garage - but I had no clue where to start, nor any energy to do so. Everything has kind of been hanging out for the week. The previous owners also left us a lovely welcoming gift of some fleas, so I've been busy vacuuming a dozen times a day (thankfully, I haven't seen any since last Wednesday).
We had planned on using Seth's cube storage that was in his closet at the apartment for our TV stand. It was tall enough so that he couldn't mess with the electronics and it would be able to have his toys stored in it! Once we moved in, we realized it wasn't the sturdiest option for him, so we have been using our kitchen table for now, which was fine - for a week apparently because I woke up yesterday morning and it had to go! Once getting the TV on top and his toys put in it, it's much more sturdy than I thought. He has already been pulling up on it and it doesn't move, so it's the perfect temporary solution until we find what we are looking for there!

For his birthday, all Jeremy wanted was to get his own home gym. He has had everything picked out for months now and has been saving up 'his pennys' : ) So, when he got home from work on his birthday he got it all ordered! It's been arriving piece by piece, but today was a rather large order so I set off to the garage to get everything a bit more organized to make room for it!
(the pile at the end is trash)
(the stack of tubs on the left is all for the attic - WE HAVE AN ATTIC)
That seemed to make more of a mess, though.....
Today's project : )

And after!!!
Refer here to see what our house looked like when we purchased it.
Here is what it looks like now!
(well, not now - now it looks like a tornado wiped us out lol)
It's crazy what a coat (or 2) of paint will do!

Every time we came over to do some work,
Jeremy's dad loaded up his truck!

(We found the pantry door to have a huge hole in it when we did our walk through. They had something hanging over it when we first looked at it - but they fixed it for us! I plan to paint it and make it a chalkboard for grocery lists and Seth fun : )
As always, he is the best helper!
Seriously?! That face!!!!!!!
