Oh Lucas Jay.......he has been our little sour patch kid from day one, but lately he's been a whole lot more sweet than sour. Especially in his role as a brother. If Seth expresses something that he wants to do, or not do, or play with - even if Lucas opposes it, he will very quickly change his mind to make his brother happy. And of course with Kylie, his antics to get her to smile or giggle are the best show in town!
He is very easy going when it comes to playing. He loves superheros, especially Hulk, Flash and Batman. Coloring and playdough are a favorite as well as any kind of building toys and his kitchen gadgets. He loves to snuggle and hates to eat LOL He has a wonderful imagination, the biggest sense of humor and is incredibly smart. He has sat and done "school" with Seth and I all year long and anytime Seth can't answer a question, Lucas can.
His birthday fell on a Wednesday and we played it up pretty big that Daddy still had to go to work for the day.....
In true birthday fashion, he got to pick everything! For breakfast - donuts and bacon! And our traditional hot cocoa party!
Seth was SO excited to give him his gift (a Batman watch)
For lunch it was a McDonald's picnic - complete with a surprise from Beba. And then we took him over to a family friend's farm for another surprise since he wants to be a farm when he grows up 😄
We were just about to leave when Mr. Scott came driving up!
He asked who's birthday it was and gave this birthday guy (and his big brother) the best gift!
For dinner it was cheeseburgers and salads
with ice cream sundaes for dessert!
On Saturday we celebrated with the family who could join us!
