Celebrating birthdays!

My parents got the boys a joint birthday gift this year, so we celebrated them both while they were visiting since Lucas' was fast approaching!

Then it was time for cake!

Lucas was absolutely disgusted by the frosting...

It wasn't until I cut some cake out of the middle, without any frosting on it that he dove into it with both fists!

What a silly boy. I'm not sure what to do for his cake on Saturday. Try plain frosting, whipped cream or just leave it naked!

Easter!

My parents rolled in the Thursday night before Easter Sunday. We had such an incredible week with them and made some great memories! 

Easter morning.....

Off to church we went! When we got there, the yard was covered with bounce houses. Mommy thought we should just run to the car afterwards, but Dada made the call and I'm so glad we let him play. It was his first time ever being in one and he had such a blast.....

We had plans to do an egg hunt last year, but since we were bringing Lucas home from the hospital at about 11pm the night before, I was lucky to just get Seth's Easter basket out. So this year we got it done right!
