Week 4!

Our week 4 post is being cut short, but still filled with adventure!

We had to fit in another trip to the Zoo! 

By far Seth's favorite & the baby is getting big!

I LOVE this face! (and this boy)

The gorilla exhibit was open! The first time we went in we found them like this. They had a barrier up so we couldn't go right up to the glass, so that's the best shot I could get. If you look under Momma's armpit you can see Baby's little hand. And that's Daddy up in the hole/tunnel to the right of her. They said he is always close by! They still don't know if it's a boy or a girl. I love that they give them space and time! They said the baby will cling to Mommy until about a year old! 

Of course we had to go back again and they had come down. Daddy was showing off his muscles when we first got there. 

And sweet Mommy was nursing the baby!

They also said every time the Dad gets close to Mom and tries to touch the baby, she takes off with it! (as seen below) I wonder if they can be aggressive or if she is just being possessive lol 

The really missed each other while Lucas was in the stroller hahaha 

There are 3 baby lions too but they haven't been let out yet! I think because they have that big trench separating us from them, they would be able to fall into it if they aren't big enough to know?! Hopefully they will be out soon. Baby animals at the zoo is so fun! 

We ended our day on the carousal and this is what Lucas thought of it. He rode this way the whole time which was really fun for me as it went up and down and around and around LOL  

Week 3 of Summer!

Last week started off with Father's Day. I didn't get any pictures of Jeremy's gifts, but it was a 3-day affair thanks to Amazon's delayed deliveries! I don't think he minded, though. I did find the perfect card.....

He also won a huge pack of delicious ground beef burger patties at the Father's Day church giveaway, along with a basket of movie goodies and a new grill tool! Ironically enough, he won a pack of meat at our first Father's Day giveaway at our church, too! 

Regal is doing $1 movie days for the summer, so we decided it was time to take Seth to his first one! Him and I went to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman and Jeremy took Lucas off to the aquarium for the morning. We had to sit in the very front row because my little peanut had to sit on the edge of his sit to prevent it from collapsing on him! I'm pretty sure he loved every second, especially once the popcorn came! 

Old toys become new again when you bring them out of hiding.....

I don't think we've been to the children's museum since Seth was a baby if I remember correctly. Their prices are a bit unreasonable, especially since you have to pay for the adults, too. But now that we get a discount, we are going to enjoy going ALOT! 

On Saturday we celebrated our big guy's birthday. Obviously, it isn't until July 4th but since we will be out of town we wanted to have a party with his buddies here before hand. We did it at the beach and it was absolutely perfect - besides the part that I didn't get any pictures! My only regret! The rest was super easy and convenient. The boys love it there and got really brave with the water by the end of our day. 

We kept the theme for the day and let him pick dinner. He asked for snacks, so Mommy did the best she could with that.......

And we gave him his big gift that he won't be able to get in NY.....

We are having the best summer vacation!!!
