Half-way through the new month, let's recap last month 😂 When you get to the end of this, you'll understand what took me so long! LOL
This big girl grew up and learned
a lot of new tricks this month!!!
She's pretty proud of it, too!
Happy Mother's Day to me!
I just love this one 💜
It doesn't last long, but I love our field of dandelions!!!
Thankful for all of the rainbows in our life!
These two and their cooking! One of my favorite obsessions they have that I hope stays forever!
We got our garden in! Decided not to make it bigger this year, just changed the quantity of what we put in!
The only kind of date nights we get right now, but we aren't complaining!
Another new trick! Big stuff!!!
6+ months later and their love has only grown for her...
Kylie's first pool day!
And another!!!!! Literally as soon as she learned to sit up on her own, she learned ALL the things!!!
This has to be the cutest picture of all time, right?!
And then.......🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
We welcome Nala into our family! She is Seth's birthday present - it just happened a little early due to the timing of the litter!
My heart is overflowing with an immeasurable amount of love for this family I've been blessed with! I'm thankful for my husband, my best friend. The partnership that we have and the life that we've built. As I write this we have just 4 more days before the 2020-2021 school year wraps up for the whole Thomas family.
😭 it's going too fast, y'all!!! We were just finding out we were expecting again. We were just afraid of another loss. We were just figuring out how to live in a pandemic while pregnant. We were just heading to the hospital again and again only to be sent home. We were JUST wondering when in the world we'd get to meet our daughter. And yet here we are, with a 6-month old who.....
- is sitting
- is crawling
- is asking to be picked up
- is babbling away
- is consistently rolling from belly to back
- is obsessed with her toes and tongue
- has two teeth
- loves her brothers, her kitty, baths & books
- eats one meal a day with us at supper
Accomplishments we aren't the proudest about consist of arching her back and screeching when she's angry 😜
We are working on blowing kisses, waving bye-bye and saying ma-ma 😉
Kylie started out getting herself on the perfect sleep schedule and quickly doing 4-6-8-10-12 hour stretches during the night. I thought, "Wow! This girl got all her crazy out in the womb and is making this easy on us!" But then 😜 she started to backtrack, we all got COVID and the teeth started cutting through. Every night is a new story, every morning is a new level of tired, every day is a different schedule of naps - a different time block for getting school done, a new adventure! Back with the boys, I'd be scouring the internet and polling my FB friends for advice, trying different sleep training tips, painstakingly letting her crying it out and begging for sleep. Even though my tank feels empty at times and I grumble as I crawl out of bed at many different hours, as soon as I see her face my soul is filled with joy. I'm embracing it (in this moment anyways).
We waited a long time for her, endured much heartache and now I can't imagine our life without her making all of us smile like the sun!
