Kylie turned ONE!

At the risk of sounding like a broken record.......

How? I mean really, HOW?!?

We had a "You are my Sunshine" themed celebration for our girl! 

The birthday buddies!

She loves avocados and tomatoes so we had a salad bar!

She wasn't quite sure how to destroy the cake per say, but she was certainly a fan of eating it! 

Presents were another thing she wasn't quite sure about, wasn't quite sure why she was allowed to rip paper 😂

This girl 💜

She weighs 19.41 pounds and is 29 inches long which is exactly the same as I was at one year! She is the same height that the boys were at a year as well, but she is 2 pounds lighter!

She is still nursing three times a day, before her naps and bedtime. She shows no signs of quitting and I'm okay with that! I think she will soon be dropping down to two naps though. Both of them have been getting shorter so I'm afraid it's almost time to cut one out. 

Bananas are one of her favorite foods ever and she can't start her day without one! Avocados, tomatoes, noodles, applesauce, raspberries and bread are included as well! She isn't a big fan of meat and is obsessed with ketchup!!!

She is so full of personality and is too smart for her own britches! She loves her brothers and her animals. She is obsessed with stories, baby dolls and is happiest with her paccy and goat snuggy! Bath time is a big time favorite and I think she intentionally gets dirty after each meal for just that purpose! 

She knows most of her body parts and says Woah, Mama, Dada with a whooooole bunch of other chatter! It still surprises me every time she gets up and starts running! 

Is it bad of me to say that I'm kinda glad the monthly photo shoots are over? 😜 We had more celebrations on her actual birthday!

After her party, she figured out the opening gifts thing!

This girl is a huge blessing and it consumes me multiple times a day when I get stuck staring at her, grinning from ear to ear (because you can't look at her without smiling)! We are so thankful for her!

We had our first homeschool field trip! Since being a firefighter is on both of the boys' lists currently, this was a pretty big hit!

She told me to take a nap before she got there because we were going to stay up ALL night! Guess who was the first one asleep.......

The month ended with Kylie's room getting redone. Her crib used to be in the corner where the dresser now is, but little miss started to think that playing with curtains was WAY more fun than sleeping!
