Kylie turns 2!

We had a hard time deciding what to do for Kylie's party theme. She has a unicorn and dinosaur shirt that she is OBSESSED with. When those two shirts are dirty her world crumbles a little bit. But she also goes around the house saying "hoo-hoo, hoo-hoo." That's typically how we know she is awake from her nap is the "hoo-hoos" coming from her bedroom. AND Mickey Mouse her favorite show. When I asked her what she wanted for her party between unicorns, dinosaurs, Mickey Mouse and Owls, she said yes to every single option LOL So I knew I just needed to pick one and she wouldn't be disappointed with any of them!

Our decision was made when I realized the rhyme
"Our little Hoo is two"! 😍

She helped me make the cake!

And got ready for her party!

Everybody got loved!

First up, presents!

Then cake!

From one baby to all of this (one baby not pictured)!

She's got the coloring bug & talent! ❤

Little did we know the RSV virus was building inside of her. She woke up the next morning with a fever, the next night was absolute hell and the next day we were off to urgent care for the diagnosis.
She didn't even want to eat a cupcake when we celebrated with her on her birthday, so I'm ever so grateful that we were able to celebrate at her party before she went down.

Gifts from her bubs.....

They sure do love her!

A few days later we were back at the pediatrician for a double ear infection confirmation. They were so bad the Dr said they almost ruptured. Lucas also had a double ear infection and we all started falling apart one by one!

Thankfully we are on the mend and hopefully done with sickness, at least until after the holidays! We went for her well check and my little peanut weighs 27 pounds 3.2 ounces and is 2 feet 9.86 inches tall! She has a love/hate relationship with food and will only eat what she wants, when she wants to, even if its completely the opposite of the last time! She still doesn't like to say very much but we all know she has way more words than she likes to admit. A new one sneaks out almost daily now! She's our little sour patch kid 2.0 - second to Lucas. Which is quite funny because those two can be the best of friends and the worst of enemies. Oh do they push each other's buttons! She does love her bubs though and is the biggest fan of her baby sister. It was so hard to keeping them apart while she was sick (and baby sister ended up getting it anyways). She constantly asks to give her hugs and kisses when she sees her, gasps when she hears her cry and wants to give her all the things! Only on occasion when Jeremy or I are holding Mia, will Kylie tell us to put her down so we can pick her up LOL

She is OBSESSED with baby dolls and wants to watch the Grinch every single day! She also loves Mickey Mouse, Daniel Tiger and Curious George! She loves to do "Run Baby Run" and the "Goldfish Song" on Youtube! We have another story fan also with Pout Pout fish and Brown Bear Brown Bear being the favorites!

She's still our little petite girl, but I can't believe how much she grew!!! Watching her get big is so bittersweet! We love you, Kylie Christine 💜

2 months!

Here we are folks! Although in all honestly, it actually feels like it's been even longer than two months with our sweet girl. So much has gone on!

She's at that sweet spot for pictures where it's easy to make her smile but she can't run or roll away! LOL

She weighed in at 10lb 8.6oz and was 22.24 inches! She didn't gain too much weight but sure grew in length! The doctor said her weight is to be expected between RSV and sleeping bigger chunks at night. She also spits up more than any of my other kids have. Her daytime feedings are on no schedule whatsoever. She will eat anywhere between 1.5 - 4 hours. But at nighttime she's pretty consistently doing a 6 hour stretch! Sometimes that stretch starts early when Mommy and Daddy haven't gone to bed yet and other times it works out perfectly. Although, we have been sick for what seems like her whole life so even when she is sleeping well, it seems like someone else hasn't been.

She is a very smiley, happy and all in all easy going baby (as all of ours have been, really ❤) She is starting to coo and gurgle some conversations - she really had a lot to say to the Christmas tree!

She tolerates tummy time for a short while but her neck strength is pretty epic (I think all of our kids were born with the ability to hold their heads). When the pediatrician rolled her over to her belly she said she feels like all our kids are over achievers!

She's a paccy lover and is starting to love her sloth snuggy! She's found a lot with her hand in her mouth, so I'm wondering if we will have a finger sucker at some point. She's also JUST starting to slowly figure out her hands and seems to be slowly reaching for things! She loves to stare. Now those stares are accompanied with smiles and gurgles, but my goodness will she just stare and melt your heart!

Without looking above at her pictures can you tell who is Mia and who is Kylie? Jeremy and I both agree that because we see Mia right now we can tell, but in a few years we won't be able to!
