January!

We didn't ring in the new year in any kind of exciting way and we didn't even make it to midnight because we weren't feeling 100%. Jeremy taped the shows and we tried having a special dinner on the 1st, but it still didn't sit right and wasn't the same!

The new year did start out special for Lucas though! He felt his tooth loose weeks prior, but being completely opposite of Seth, he just left it alone. Once we could see the new tooth popping up behind the baby tooth, we knew we needed to start working on it and get it out of the way!

The boys wanted to try coffee!

The last few days of magic before it came down ❤

Sunday morning beauty 😍

One toy is never enough, although we've been trying to teach her "one" 😂 She will go get these bones that she has sharpened and then just walk away leaving them in the middle of the floor for us to stub our toes on.

Too much sweetness for one little girl! 😍

Seth is doing awesome in 2nd grade. I'm so proud of all he's accomplishing. This spelling test had me worried with the "ee" sound sometimes being "ee" and sometimes being "ea"!

Playing babies 😂

Sticky legos!

I'm so thankful my mom took music off of my plate!

Lucas has been doing great in school as well! The biggest thing I want him to learn in K (since he knows most of the skills/facts we are going over) is to sit and listen 😉 We learned about the different food groups and used it as a good excuse to make some bread!

Colorful food tastes the best!

Even big girls need a ride, sometimes! ❤

This was before she perfected her rolling!
She doesn't stay in one spot, anymore!

This is what 2am with a busted furnace looks like!

It was a very rough month for us.....

But we are thankful for promises, past experiences and more love & support than we deserve ❤

Mia summed it up nicely 😂

The Bills fought to the end 😞💔

I remember taking this video and being so impressed at how far she had come just since her birthday in November. And now looking back at this video weeks after, she's even further!!!

Some days, you just need to  make a fort!

This will forever be my favorite (besides snuggling up for a book). It's quiet, encourages conversations and is so therapeutic for me!

I'm not sure he ever thought THIS would be the Friday night he'd want the most. I asked him countless times if he wanted me to take her or if he wanted to go to bed 😘

I love these crazy monkeys!

Another surprise video found on my phone...😂

And our month ended with a sledding party at Grandpa & Grandma's that included more Thomas' than we thought! A fun surprise from a PA family ❤

She lasted way longer than I thought
she would and enjoyed her first sledding day!

Here's to February!
May it be kinder, healthier & full of sunshine!

4 months!

Here we are!

As you can see above, she loves her feet and her fist! She's also a rolling machine. She prefers to go from belly to back (which means we've entered the super fun sleeping stage) but can go both directions!

I think we are about to start the food adventure because she stares at us bringing our fork/spoon up to our mouth. She's a drool monster so I'm not sure when that first tooth is going to pop, but I'm terrified. I pray she takes after her sister and not her brother. She is our first big puker/spitter-upper. She seems to do it more in the evening and doesn't seem to be uncomfortable before hand. She'll just be fine and then, bombs away. I chatted with the doctor about it and she wasn't concerned and was happy with her growth curve. She said soon, as she starts sitting up and eating solids, her stomach sphincter will mature and get stronger and should help!

She is also our first kiddo to refuse a paccy in the middle of the night. The other 3, when they woke in the night I could go in and paccy them and we could all go back to sleep. Miss Mia only wants one thing when she wakes up. She's on no schedule or routine as far as how often she eats, day or night. Thankfully though, she knows her night from her day and when she does wake up to eat in the night she will go back to sleep.

She weighed in at 12lbs 6.7oz and is 24.41in! She gained ALMOST 2 pounds and grew MORE than 2 inches! This makes her our smallest babe at this age and almost the tallest (Seth was 24.75)!

It's REALLY easy to make her smile and she smiles with her WHOLE face. She's chattering away and loves her bubs & sissy as much as they do her. She's a pretty easy going, happy baby and anytime she's not, she just needs to touch her Mama ❤
