March Recap !

My view each morning ❤ it may be early but it sure is sweet!

If you missed my last 6-month update on Miss Mia,
her crawling journey evolved!

Kylie is really enjoying her baby sister growing up.
She's learning boundaries & sharing 😂

This guys is really growing up! (the little one 😉)

We wrapped up Seth's science for the year!!! He had lots of fun & yummy projects towards the end, including making ice cream volcanoes after learning about lava & ash!

The kids really encouraged and had fun with Mia becoming mobile!

I had my first ever in-person booth with PaperPie (formally Usborne Books & More). Miss Mia and my mom joined me.

We had a blast! She was sooo good and it was really successful!

This little princess loves to get ready with Mommy ❤

The things they will do for video games 😂

Who can spot what's "wrong" with this picture?!?

If you look closely, the right side of the paper is cut off. Kylie scribbled on it and messed it up, so he cut it off, taped on a plain white piece of paper and drew the picture back onto it!!! This kid is so good!

It wouldn't be a month in 2023 without something breaking, right?! LOL Time for a new oven!

Those little signs that you're doing something right.....

Just a little pampering.......

Documenting gym class! 😂

New snacks!

For the big kids, too! Lego sweet tarts!

We had lots of wildlife visit!

Can you find him?

Mia gets driven around every day.....

The boys got their summertime buzz cuts, much to Mommy's dismay!

I got served a delicious dinner at the upstairs cafe!

Seth's reading progress is incredible to watch ❤

The skies continue to impress.....

She turned 6 on me!

You thought we were all done, didn't you? Nope - leaky toilet time! 😂

The tooth fairy had a busy month, too!

Sleepy toes are my favorite!!!

I can't even with this cutie patootie!

Time for a big girl chair!

Sometimes you just have to walk away
from the lists, sit down and be silly!

Of course we are almost at the end of April as I write this. I think May will wrap up school for Seth and then we are on the home stretch for Daddy and summer vacationnnnnnnn! Stay tuned for our April fun!

6 Months!

Oh me, oh my - Oh Mia! 6 months of life with you and I don't know how we ever did it without you ❤

She may be little but my she is fierce! She started inchworm crawling and getting wherever she wanted to go on March 13th. She got faster and faster, practiced on the daily and mastered "real" crawling on April 7th. She is pulling up on eeeeeeverything and it really just feels like my baby is gone and I now have 2 toddlers in the house 😔 She will take steps and walk around while we hold her hands, even. I pray to God she doesn't beat sissy with walking (Kylie walked at 9 months and that was plenty early!). Kylie is really enjoying this stage of her playing, but it also gets her into trouble because she forgets that sissy is still little and can't do everything she may think she can.

She is eating 3 meals a day with us and has quickly started to prefer having textures to chew on and things to pick up herself versus just being fed with a baby spoon. I figured out if I let her be independent for a few minutes she will want to get fed though, because we have so much baby food that I don't want to waste.

Her days are pretty consistent. She wakes up around 6:30 and plays for a bit before having some breakfast. Nurses and goes down for a nap around 10 and then is up around 12. She likes to play for a bit before eating again and then she gets more milk and goes back down around 2. Up again around 4 for more playtime before we eat dinner and then she's usually ready for milk and bedtime around 7:30 with sissy.

Her nights are still pretty inconsistent, sadly LOL We went 2 nights with just one feeding between 2:30-3:30am and I was so happy, but then we started to get sick, she got her shots and now we are back to where we were - a hot mess 😂 and a different story each night - nursing 2-3 times through the night.

She doesn't suck her fingers anymore, paccy comes to the rescue when she is hurt or tired. But don't even try to stick that disgusting thing in her mouth at 2am! NO THANK YOU! 😂

She's taking after her sissy in some ways - like after dinner when she's mad at the whole world, just put on some listener kids for 5 minutes and she'll be good to go. She's also allergic to Pampers diapers just like sissy was. She just moved into size 3 diapers and she's wearing 3/6-6 month clothing currently. She weighed in at 14lbs 10oz and was 26.38 inches long.

She's really starting to babble with her ba-ba-ba and nobody believes me but I swear she had a ma-ma in there a couple times! Daddy also claims he heard a Da-Da......we will see, I'm working on it 😉 She loooooooooves her bubba Lucas almost as much as Mommy and squeals whenever she sees him, so maybe she's really just trying to call him!

She lights up our life and I can't believe we are 6 months in already........here comes that first birthday 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
