Decorations ~

You know, you see these great decorations on Pinterest, that send you to a link on Etsy where you have to pay around $30 for the paper itself, no frame included....

...but in reality, you can make it yourself for less than half that price!!!

It's beginning to look...

Okaaaaay, not really...
especially in South Carolina where it is a lot hotter than it is supposed to be in October.

BUT IT'S COMING!!!

Now I know what all of you are thinking.
Halloween and Thanksgiving aren't even here yet!?!?!?

But my boss, who shares in my early onset Christmas spirit, came up with a wonderful come back for all of you grinches....
Does Jesus only deserve one day of celebration?!?
Come on now! :D
hahaha

Happy Monday!!

My bad!

How terrible am I.
It has been a month since I posted anything.

Whoopsie!

So, the house is put together, everything is where it is supposed to go, except the walls are bare.

LOL

You will get your pictures once that problem is fixed!
I have been saying that I need to get things hung, etc so that I can justify buying fall decorations, but I think I am going to hold off until it's time for Christmas decorations, because, well, Christmas just rocks. But don't worry, I will decorate and post pictures before Christmas! LOL

Things have been going well here, though! We are super happy in our new little home. It is smaller, but all that we need. All that the other apartment had that this one doesn't, we never used anyways! It is more convenient for Jeremy's work and not a huge pain for me to go to work. Traffic for the most part isn't too bad. I have been working a lot, which has been nice, love me some babies : ) But, the best update of all is that Jeremy absolutely LOVES his job!!! Oh how happy that makes me as his wife. Apparently between 6th grade and 8th grade, something scary happens to children. HA! These little guys absolutely love him and get so excited about every little thing that he does with them. He doesn't dread going to work every day and gets so excited when he thinks of an activity for them. I love hearing his stories when he comes home every night and i'm pretty sure every little 6th grade girl has a crush on him ; )

Other than that, not too much is new. We are impatiently awaiting Christmas, babies to be born and honeymoon planning is officially underway! : )

Good times to come...
...pictures too I promise! LOL

Before & After

Here is our new apartment! Pictures before we moved everything in and then pictures of our "organized mess." LOL Saturday was a very long and tiring day, but we are both so happy here already.

This time, our door goes right outside, vs our last apartment that had the one main door and then all the apartments inside of that. We like this much better : )

Living room

Coat closet right inside the door

Living room/dining room/kitchen

Living room : )

Our welcome package : )

Kitchen

Bathroom - our shower is like a jacuzzi!

Bathroom cabinet which we love much more being over the sink vs the toilet in our last apartment. I don't know how more things didn't fall into the toilet! LOL

Linen closet

Bedroom

Walk-in closet

All moved in!

The chair won't be staying there :P

Welcome home to us! : )

Goodbye...

The "big" move starts tomorrow and by the end of Saturday we will be completely moved out of our first home!

So, I made a little craft to remember
this first adventure of ours!

Can't wait to start our next adventure!

The new school year...

We are two days away from the new school year. Jeremy has been working for the past week now, but the kids don't come until the 21st. It's actually nice to not have a full week back with the kids for the first week. Take on 3 days, give yourself a weekend and then go at it full force : ) Jeremy is officially in the zone and I am already so proud of him.
He got to see his classroom last week and got everything set up this weekend. This is where I give major kudos to Buist Academy. His classroom is absolutely beautiful. He isn't allowed to decorate the walls since everything is nice and new, but he doesn't even need to! That's how nice it is. His back wall is a long counter top with 2 sinks in it for his labs, complete with top and bottom cupboards. The kid's desks are shaped so that they can sit together in a circle, or be taken apart to be separate desks. He has a smart board, double sliding dry erase boards that have cabinet space behind them. Oh and did I mention not one, but TWO of the most comfortable rolly chairs ever! LOL That is only some of the things, not to even mention all the supplies he got and is able to get more anytime he needs for different things he might want to do with his kids! He gets to meet the kids and parents tonight and I can't wait to hear about it all when he gets home!
I am just so excited for him this year.
I think he is going to rock the 6th grade!
Although the first month or so is going to be a little rocky with us moving and all, I have complete confidence that he is going to get in there and do what he does best!

Bring it on, right babe? : )

Things to look forward to!

February 2014 is going to be like the best month ever! Although it is kind of sad since we will be home in December and then probably not again until June or July, SO many cute little babies are going to be born in February!!!

Just to name a few...

...both of Jeremy's brothers are expecting...

Ryan, Amanda & Reece

Nathan & Lana

My friend Rachel is expecting her first...
& my friend Erin is expecting her second!
