First time at the Aquarium!

One of our outings was visiting the Aquarium! We thought it would be something everyone would enjoy from young to old(er). It was Seth's first time and he absolutely LOVED the fish tanks! As if he couldn't get any cuter - he keeps getting cuter : )

Love being his Mommy and watching him
experience all of his "firsts"  : )

Thanksgiving

Life has been pretty insane for the Thomas'. Between watching 3 extra kiddos before Thanksgiving, having 11 people come visit us for the week of Thanksgiving, having Seth get croup (which included doctor's appointments and a trip to the ER), Usborne for me, teaching for Jeremy and only 10 days before we leave for our annual Christmas trip to NY - I have to stop to catch my breath!

We still need to do his 5 month photos, but he still isn't feeling 100% and we have been enjoying our pj's lately because of that, so they will come in time - before Christmas I promise : ) I am planning on doing his 5 month "fact" post without the pictures though, so you won't have to wait too long to hear about the peanut.

First things first - Thanksgiving! I know it was over a week ago already (where on earth has time gone, seriously?!) Jeremy's parents, grandparents and both brothers with their families came to see us this year! It was really nice to have family in town for Thanksgiving as it is usually just us. It was an adventure to have 14 people in a 2 bedroom apartment for a week, but we ventured out, took them site seeing and had a lot of fun! Here are some pictures of our week. I didn't take near as many as I had planned on - why does that always happen? I completely missed Thanksgiving day and pictures of our feast, but being with family is what it's all about anyways, right? So who needs to stop and say 'cheese'?

Seth got to meet most everyone at our impromptu trip to NY a few weekends before, but he got to meet his Uncle Nathan, Aunt Lana and cousin Lucy for the first time!

Can't wait to see most everyone again in just over a week! Counting the days until we get to see our Arizona family again - we were supposed to set a date!

Cuteness alert!

Is this really the first blog I've titled this way? 4 months into Seth's life......I can't believe it.

Anyways, just a little story to end the week out.

Last night I was feeding Seth on the couch around 5pm. He was sleeping when Jeremy got home so this was the first they had seen each other all day. The whole entire time he ate he would eat for 2 minutes and then flop over and start talking to Jeremy. Then he would flop back and eat for a couple more minutes. Then he'd flop back and get a big grin on his face while talking to Jeremy. Almost like "oh yeah, I forgot to tell you Dada". Not really a picture moment, but definitely one of the (many) cutest things I've seen with the two of them and one to remember!

My in-laws start coming into town tonight and will be with us for over a week, so you won't hear from me until December! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving full of food, family and friends! : )

New stuff!

Seth got some new toys while we were in NY from both Grandma's and also Great Grandma. This little rubber ring has been a top choice and he found a new way to play with it!
He thinks he's pretty cute!

Being an Usborne consultant has me stocking the house with books quite regularly. Seth is loving it and has gotten pretty addicted to his 123 Counting book!

I absolutely LOVE watching him learn and grow! One of the many blessings of being a Mommy - especially a stay-at-home one : )

Buddies!

We found out about a month after Seth was born that we had neighbors on the other end of our building that went to our church and were also expecting their first child! After their little girl was born we brought them over dinner and have become pretty good friends ever since! They are both teachers and after finishing up their time off they had a random week where they could have put her in daycare, but asked if I would be willing to watch her - uhm, yes please!

Seth has loved having a buddy around to play with! He is always starring at her and whenever I feed her a bottle he just looks at me - I feel like I'm cheating on him! hahaha We are so glad to have friends so close by, both the adults and the baby : )
