Kylie went in for her two month well-check and did a great job! She "chatted" with the doctor, showed off her neck strength and weighed in at 10lb 12.6oz and 21.65 inches long.
Still eating every 2-4 hours during the day but she loves to sleep and is going at LEAST 9 hours during the night! If she does a shorter stretch (and by short I mean still 7-9 hours) then she goes right back to sleep for another good 4 hours.
The paccy is a comfort to her but she has found her fingers and will smack on them all day long. She is still drooling like crazy as well and when she wakes up in a puddle of it her face and bed just stink!
She is gurgling and talking a lot more and has started to "spit" while telling stories. She is full of smiles and gives them out pretty easily, although the boys are really good at getting them. She lights up as soon as she sees them and loves them interacting with her - singing to her and doing patty-cake!
Our month, especially after having just had a baby looked a lot like this.......
It was still full of snuggles & cuteness
(that hasn't and probably won't ever change!)
Kylie has started enjoying bathtime.....
And of course, CHRISTMASTIME came!!!!!
We rearranged our living room so that our tree could go in that perfect big window! I (surprisingly) was NOT in the mood to decorate but my little Seth was heartbroken at the thought that we wouldn't have anything up, so I decided to put on a brave face and not disrupt even more of his life. Of course once I started I loved it!
The boys tucked Kylie in for a nap so we could do a project.....
This is what happens when you tell Lucas to smile.....
Our house is full of built in best friends!
We have had it on our list to decorate the boys' room since we first moved in. It's been over a year at this point! I'm glad we waited though because their desire for animals has since turned into superheros - hopefully this phase lasts for a good while 😜 So one of their Christmas presents was a room makeover.....
He asked me every day (and still does) if we were making cookies so that he could wear this shirt when it was time!
We could not get over this because she REFUSES to sleep on her back!
And for the first time, this OCD mom decided what the heck - we need to make some gingerbread houses!!!
Those suckers were hard as ROCK!
(they ended up just eating the candy off lol)
Kylie really found her smile 😍
And then it was CHRISTMAS!!!!!
Their favorite gifts were the ones they picked out for each other (spiderman and batman)
Jeremy really enjoyed the remote control cars we got them 😜
And then our traveling adventures began!
I always struggle with taking pictures during festivities. I want to sit and enjoy them, watch the kids, but yet document the memories. Sadly, in all the chaos of the full house and many kiddos, I didn't get any shots at the Thomas' celebration.
Our month wrapped up with a visit from Aunt Sami and Cody.....
And many more smooshed sleepy faces.....
The boys got one more surprise of an air fort from their Aunt and Uncle, which is one of the coolest things! They have plans for picnics, sleepovers and movie nights!
I thought watching the boys grow up and bond was one of the sweetest things.....brothers! But oh my heart, watching them with their sister, the way they look at each other.....it tugs at a Momma's heart!
