Oh you guys.......for some reason 6 hit me harder than 5. It's like we rounded the corner on our way to 10 😔 This having your kiddos grow up thing is hard, y'all!!! So incredibly bittersweet - because the watching him learn, be a brother, find his dreams and develop his character is pretty awesome, too!
He didn't want to have a party this year. Instead, he just wanted a day with his buddy Reece. So Jeremy took him, Lucas & Reece for a day to play soccer, football and freeze tag - complete with McDonalds!
But we still had to have presents!

(PS - creativity points for Mommy calling it a lava cake because this is what he actually requested in the colors pink, red and orange! 😂 My buttercream flopped and started oozing as soon as I applied it 😬)
All he wanted to do on his birthday was go fishing!
The boys always flip-flop growth years. They were the same height at 1 year, then Seth was taller at two, they were the same at 3, Seth taller at 4 and since Lucas has already shot up since his birthday, I think they'll match up again at 5!
Seth wants to have a farm with Lucas when he grows up, but work as a football player with the Chiefs 😉 He loves to play sports or games of any kind, riding his bike, board games, puzzles, coloring, play dough and reading stories. Anything he can win at is his favorite and something we continually work on LOL His imagination in the toy room is incredible - between paw patrol missions and kitchen creations! He loves playing Crash Bandicoot, superheroes of every kind, listening to music, dancing and be outside (unless it's too hot or buggy). This year included his first soccer "season", his first performance playing the maraca with his Aunt Sarah and family at church, his first year of school, being a great big brother to his first sister.....and speaking of firsts - FIRST grade starts in less than a month with Mommy as his teacher again ❤
