5 months!

*Broken record warning*

I just can't even believe it 😂😭 The fact that Miss Mia has been in our lives for 5 months - and all that has happened in that time frame - absolutely BLOWS my mind! I just can't even handle it.....

When we had Kylie I didn't think it was possible to see a tinier or happier baby. Well, enter Mia!

(I call this one: "Yeah I know I'm big stuff") 😍

She has been consistently up on all 4's and doing the inchworm crawl for almost a month! Spinning in circles, rolling all over the place. She's not fast enough to lose yet but she can get where she wants to go with enough time! She loves her jumper and playing on the floor. She isn't very happy being confined to her swing anymore. She has no sleeping or eating patterns whatsoever still 😂 Other than the fact we have started trying some baby food with her when we eat our dinner and, although she still wakes consistently in the night she does know that it's nighttime and goes right back to sleep 👐

She loves to babble, and easily smiles with her WHOLE face. She loves to play with her built in toys.....her toes! She has started reaching for me ❤

She still has her paccy and although she takes it for naps and cranky time, she's also starting to go for her fingers pretty consistently. I will put her to bed on her belly with her paccy and after playing for a bit I will go in and find her fast asleep on her back with her fingers in her mouth.

She still pukes like a crazy person, too. BUT I made it back to the chiropractor for the first time since being pregnant and she gives free adjustments for a newborn if you saw her while pregnant. She didn't get to finish because Mia was hungry and cranky but after feeling her back for half a second she asked me if she is a puker! Apparently (and yet not surprisingly) it's all connected. So I'm hopeful that between what the doctor told me and what the chiropractor can do, my laundry can get cut back by perhaps one load/day 😂

Her brothers and sister are still obsessed with her. She squeals whenever Lucas picks her up. Kylie loves her on the verge of too much but I can quickly redirect her to taking care of her babies while I take care of mine 😉 She is my little Mama shadow.

I apologize for the 2 dozen pictures of the same exact face but I deleted as many as I could LOL

We love her with every piece of our hearts! Next up will be 6-months and so begins the panic of the impending first birthday 😭😂

January!

We didn't ring in the new year in any kind of exciting way and we didn't even make it to midnight because we weren't feeling 100%. Jeremy taped the shows and we tried having a special dinner on the 1st, but it still didn't sit right and wasn't the same!

The new year did start out special for Lucas though! He felt his tooth loose weeks prior, but being completely opposite of Seth, he just left it alone. Once we could see the new tooth popping up behind the baby tooth, we knew we needed to start working on it and get it out of the way!

The boys wanted to try coffee!

The last few days of magic before it came down ❤

Sunday morning beauty 😍

One toy is never enough, although we've been trying to teach her "one" 😂 She will go get these bones that she has sharpened and then just walk away leaving them in the middle of the floor for us to stub our toes on.

Too much sweetness for one little girl! 😍

Seth is doing awesome in 2nd grade. I'm so proud of all he's accomplishing. This spelling test had me worried with the "ee" sound sometimes being "ee" and sometimes being "ea"!

Playing babies 😂

Sticky legos!

I'm so thankful my mom took music off of my plate!

Lucas has been doing great in school as well! The biggest thing I want him to learn in K (since he knows most of the skills/facts we are going over) is to sit and listen 😉 We learned about the different food groups and used it as a good excuse to make some bread!

Colorful food tastes the best!

Even big girls need a ride, sometimes! ❤

This was before she perfected her rolling!
She doesn't stay in one spot, anymore!

This is what 2am with a busted furnace looks like!

It was a very rough month for us.....

But we are thankful for promises, past experiences and more love & support than we deserve ❤

Mia summed it up nicely 😂

The Bills fought to the end 😞💔

I remember taking this video and being so impressed at how far she had come just since her birthday in November. And now looking back at this video weeks after, she's even further!!!

Some days, you just need to  make a fort!

This will forever be my favorite (besides snuggling up for a book). It's quiet, encourages conversations and is so therapeutic for me!

I'm not sure he ever thought THIS would be the Friday night he'd want the most. I asked him countless times if he wanted me to take her or if he wanted to go to bed 😘

I love these crazy monkeys!

Another surprise video found on my phone...😂

And our month ended with a sledding party at Grandpa & Grandma's that included more Thomas' than we thought! A fun surprise from a PA family ❤

She lasted way longer than I thought
she would and enjoyed her first sledding day!

Here's to February!
May it be kinder, healthier & full of sunshine!
