Our baby turned TWO!

Shew-y! Y'all! My emotions were strong on this one for so many reasons! Our last baby....TWO! Everything hits different when it's your last.....

We didn't have a big shindig this year, her party was just for us, but I still went all out and made her a special cake. It was very obvious we would be doing a Cocomelon theme this year so I whipped up some cupcakes and outlined what it needed to look like. I didn't want to bake a whole other batch just to fill in the small gaps in the center so I knew when the time came to assemble I'd be able to think of a way to bring it together......

(garlic rollers for the win 😂 thankfully it was all just for us)

I did the work behind the scenes while she was napping, snuck her up to the playroom and when Daddy got home the party began!

The smile progression on this is too precious......

She had already had "noon-les" so pizza
was the only logical choice for dinner!

"Uh-oh, Mommy. We have a situation....."

She sure is loved!

She is still our peanut butter pie! She weighs 24 pounds 3.2 ounces and is 2 feet 9.07 inches tall. She has been talking up a storm for quite some time now. That is the only part of her birthday that makes sense in my brain because surely she must be older than I think with this vocab! Along with that comes all the attitude though, and the terrible behaviors learned from her older siblings. Speaking of which, the boys still think she walks on water and is completely innocent, never doing any wrong. Her and Kylie are starting to fight like sisters do, (her go-to saying right now is "Sissy do that" - even if she's pointing to a bug bite), but also playing and loving like they do, too. Running off to their room, building houses and playing babies. They also love to pretend one of them is a kitty and the other is the Mama. They run around yelling for Mama and it's very confusing for me 😅 especially when they switch gears and actually do need me LOL Mia is obsessed with her belly and I had to go out and buy her all new pjs for the winter. Typically you'd have footie pjs for cold weather (and we were stocked with them) but zippers don't give you access to your belly, so two-piece pjs were it this year! She loves to sing, is obsessed with babies, would live outside if we let her and she thinks she is far too busy for naps. Her milkie journey has officially ended and that's all I'll say on that 😭

We ended her beautiful day playing outside together where Seth said "Mia, isn't this the best party ever!?" and warmed my soul ❤❤❤❤❤

Beyond thankful for this sweet nugget that joined our family at just the right time and added everything we didn't know we needed!
