Jeremy's parents got into town Saturday evening. We ended up meeting them at Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Syracuse basketball game that was on that night and then came back here to relax. Sunday we celebrated Easter of course, with all of the fixings. We planned the week out so that Jeremy and his dad could pick their golfing days and we decided for Monday we would go explore a bit of Charleston. When my parents were here we went and visited Fort Moultrie so we decided to go see Fort Sumter this time.
This is a replica of "The Yorktown" that is harbored in Charleston. We were planning on going to tour this another day but it didn't happen, next time! It looks super cool!

I can't remember how long each one was, but this is the largest boat to go through the harbor, even bigger than the replica of "The Yorktown"! It was pretty timely that we got to see it!

Not sure what this is - Dad, do you know??? We thought it was Fort Sumter on our way out but they never mentioned anything about it....
Charleston is known as the "Holy City" because of all the church steeples you can see from a distance...

That's Castle Pinckney. Another fort that used to protect Charleston. I'm pretty sure it was used as a prison during the Civil War.
