Thomas Update!

It's been a while since I updated you all on how things are going with us here in the South!

Jeremy is doing awesomely at his teaching. Just this weekend he had Quest with his students, which is an academic competition and they WON SCIENCE! I know that means he has some pretty awesome students, but considering he teaches them Science, I'd say that makes him a pretty awesome teacher as well, although he just doesn't seem to see it : ) On a side note, they didn't only just win, but they also beat his school from last year, which felt pretty good after the way everything went down. He continually thinks of the best activities that get the kids so excited and I love hearing about the things that go on during his day. We should be finding out sometime in April about his contract for next year, so you can be praying about that!

I am still working at the daycare, but instead of taking care of the babies from 1:30-6:30pm, I switched over to taking care of the 2-year olds from 7:30am-2! I am LOVING it! It is so much fun getting to interact with them, teach them, play with them...and let me tell you, they sure do say the darnedest things! Last week was my first week and already i've heard "my face is a hot mess" and "it's the weekend baby"! : ) While of course, they have their terrible two moments, they sure do make me laugh and smile an awful lot! And working the mornings has been really great as well. Getting off at 2 allows me to get home, do some work, get dinner going so that when Jeremy gets home we can go to the gym and be home to eat at a normal time, vs 8pm! LOL

Church is great! We are serving in the cafe about once or twice a month, which we really enjoy doing together. Jeremy plays basketball with the guys on Mondays and I have started doing yoga with the ladies on Saturdays! We are continually blessed by being a part of the Coastal family and could not be more thankful for being brought there.

We will be traveling to Florida in April for our long overdue honeymoon and have a ton of fun things picked out to do, including my favorite, swimming with dolphins! It can't get here fast enough! : ) Our family has grown by two little baby girls (as you saw in my other posts) and we can't wait to be able to get our hands on them! Unfortunately, one is in Arizona and the other in New York, while we sit here in South Carolina! UGH!!! Sometimes being so far away really stinks! But then I think about it and I would much rather be here where my husband is happy going to work everyday, than somewhere else and have him be miserable! Besides our normal day to day life and activities we have been staying busy with dog sitting and babysitting. The weather is starting to get beautiful again! (Although today we only  have a high of 42) We are trying to enjoy it before beautiful turns to horribly hot that you can only enjoy at the beach, where the water is cool enough to save you! This is coming now after two ice storms of course! Who knew? In the south?! Not me.

Well, now that i've brought up the weather, I think that tells you i've run out of things to talk about : )

We hope that this finds you well, whoever/wherever you are, reading this right now ; )
