I had a really, really nice Mother's Day weekend. I absolutely love holidays - especially Christmas, other people's birthdays and spoiling my well-deserving parents for Mother's Day and Father's Day. But I'm not one that wants to be fussed over. Jeremy of course wanted to pamper me and give me the whole world, but I just wanted to spend time together as a family - after all, if it weren't for the two of them, I wouldn't be a Mom : )
Friday night we had some friends over and enjoyed some great fellowship. I am so thankful for the friendships we have made here. I found it to be really hard at our church when there are 3 different services. Sometimes you never see the same people again if you or they attend a different service, but once we clicked with a few people and it really stuck, you cherish those friendships forever. While they were visiting they mentioned Bee City and how we needed to go check it out. It's an inexpensive, fun outing for the whole family. So, that is just what we did Saturday! We had a family pancake breakfast, Seth took his morning nap while Jeremy & I got some things done around the house and then we took off! We all loved it and it certainly won't be our last time going!
Feeding the lemurs - my favorite!!!
These guys were Seth's favorite. They ran around so much, he just sat there and grunted at them!
We didn't love this area due to the enormous frogs (Jeremy) and snakes (me) but the fish and turtles had Seth entranced.....
We didn't get any pictures of it, but in the pen next to this there were llamas. I gave them some food and they thanked me by spitting on me! I didn't appreciate it, so they didn't get anymore food. But, they were in the same area as the goats, who were super cute, but every time I tried to feed the goats the llamas would literally come running over - which made me run away.

We came back to give the lemurs the rest of our cheerios, but it was nap time...
...we found more though - and babies!
This little pig was my second favorite! His little tail was just wiggling all around, he was trying desperately to lick me through the fence and I wanted to take him home!
He thought he was pretty big stuff up here!
Seth has gotten a balloon and a soccer ball out of Dada, but Mommy had to buy him a little wooden truck while we were there : )
Love my boys and we can NOT wait for summer to get here!

Soooo cute!
