Our May!

We have an ice cream truck that drives through our neighborhood every day. We finally decided it was time to let the boys experience that!

We fit in a couple beach days!

Lucas wants nothing to do with those waves.....

Watching lizards outside is fun for all 3 kids LOL

We didn't really plan on learning to count this month, but.....

And our next beach trip was full of friends!

I will miss my bridge!

Other than beach trips and fitting in as many play dates/friend time that we can, our month was filled with the usual day-to-day life, along with house selling stuff and some personal/health things for me.

2019 has been quite the ride so far. Nothing like we ever planned or anticipated, but then when is life ever? I may or may not do a blog dedicated to the full story once we get through it all, but in the meantime - a brief update. Those of you on Facebook know more, but for those of you who aren't - I know I shared last month that we had listed and sold our house. We had our inspection done, negotiations were made and then the buyers just decided to walk away. How that's possible when contracts are signed I'm not sure and although we could have fought them and won, it would have taken time and money that we didn't have, so we let them walk. Our house was re-listed and re-sold again within 48 hours. We just got through our second round of inspection negotiations this weekend and are again moving forward. After last time, this feels super scary. Jeremy has to make resignation decisions and I need to buy plane tickets for a business trip I'm taking at the end of the month. We've been waiting to purchase them since I didn't know if I'd be flying from SC or NY. I think I will be on edge until we are sitting at the attorney's office signing the official paperwork, but I know all we can do is take one thing, one day at a time. I know I'm a different person than I was 2 months ago and for that I'm thankful. I'm thankful to know that God has us and our future in His hands and that it's all going to be even better than we can even imagine today. Your continued prayers for our moving process are much appreciated. We are still waiting to hear the official word on Jeremy's NY certification in addition to the details of selling our house. And then the buying process will begin.....oy vey!!! 😂😂😂
