March!

Our March started out similar to our February end LOL After letting Nala in one morning, I heard a meow and found this little one on the porch. We've chased them away enough we haven't seen them in a while, thankfully and 🤞🤞🤞!

The face she makes when she knows she was naughty!

We got some beautiful weather!

Someone thought she was big stuff! Slow down little one!

Time for an adventure!

Why have a sandwich with raisins and pretzels on the side?

( Don't worry, my mom had their feet LOL)

Someone thought suckers were a good idea......
(note the drip going down my shoulder LOL)

Just a regular day in the life of Lucas!

Aaaaaand my phone got stolen again! He'll hate me for this one day LOL

We made a rain gauge!

We love it when Dada is home ❤

And the layers of the atmosphere!

When your mom jumps on the sourdough train!

And then we got a date night! Jeremy planned the whole thing and we headed to the grocery store to play "Jeremy's grocery games" (IYKYK)

The first game was to get one thing from every single isle that would be put together to make a meal.....

Then we had to go shopping for food to feed us for a whole day but couldn't spend more than $10......success!

Then we did it again but we could spend as much as we wanted to.........

Finally, we had each made a list of clues that the other person had to figure out what item we were referring to and find it in the store.
My time was:

His time was:

I'm shocked we didn't get kicked out of the store, especially for the last game as we were running around 😆 Hands down one of the best dates we've had! ❤

I found Kylie's doppelganger!

We made clouds in science!

And then.....all HELL broke lose!

Jeremy started the whole thing and they dropped like flies,
everybody except for me.......

We fought it as long as we could but Miss Mia needed some assistance.......💔

This was life for two weeks......

.......it was by far the worst of my parenting journey so far. They were ALL SO sick, ALL at the same time. Mia's breathing just tipped the scales. I hate how our bodies/sickness have changed over the past 4 years.

But we made it!!!

And back onto school where this guy is rocking the cursive! The day before this was the first time he was putting cursive letters together into a word. He struggled so hard and then the next day, this!!!

So, just to put everything into perspective and document the timing.......after being sick for 13 days, Mia had her last breathing treatment on good Friday. That was the same day our kitchen sink clog turned into a royal disaster. Of course, it was also Easter weekend which for me also meant I had two cheesecake orders AND my first birthday cake order! It was a bit cray-cray but we made it, as we always do!

Before.....

The eroded hole that the snake went right through trying to get the clog we thought we had out.....

And after! It's still not perfect but we had to walk away for bit LOL

The cheesecakes came through unscathed......

Putting toe-rings on LOL

And then it was Easter!!! We were able to do our hunt outside for the first time which was very fun!

It was very hard to keep this one focused, she just wanted to open each piece she found LOL

We were able to spend some time with family! Lucas came running in from outside and said "come see what I taught myself how to do!".......

So proud of him but it was bittersweet to have missed the moment!

Easter ended for me with prepping my first birthday cake order I had to fulfill the next day! Stay tuned.......
