Taking pictures this time was a little different than others! On his actual 3 month birthday he wasn't really feeling getting pictures done and then when we actually did get them done, he wanted nothing more than to have his hands in his mouth. But, that certainly didn't change the cute factor!

I've already posted a couple updates previously and we don't go to the Doctor to get his new stats until 4 months, but our boy is certainly growing and changing. We see a lot more of Mommy in him these days, but a lot of the time we don't see either one of us and he is just his own little person <3
Since the last time I posted the video of him holding his toy with his left hand and calling him a lefty - he has shown us otherwise - he is ambidextrous! (We have also learned that the reason why he likes to hold toys with his left hand is because he just HAS to suck on his right hand fingers) He has gotten so good at being able to grab his toys by himself and holds on to them very well. If I hold a toy up in front of his face he can reach and grab for it, or if I put something in his hand he immediately closes his fist around it. If he is holding a toy connected to his play mat and I try to pick him up, he tries to bring the whole mat with us. This Mommy is so proud of all the things he is learning!
So thankful that I get to spend my days right here on the floor with him!
One of my best mommy friends sent me this video and it took everything in me to not completely break down sobbing in front of the girls. But I had many tears streaming down my face. This is the absolute most perfect song of motherhood that I have ever heard. So for all my mommy friends out there, grab your tissues and take a listen. The lyrics are under the video because they are simply beautifully written.
Seth and I have had a couple friends join us during the week lately. Two of the girls I was watching before were in a bind and needed someone to watch them short term until Thanksgiving and they were willing to bring them to me, so we jumped on the opportunity! It has been a huge blessing. The Lord surely had this all planned out (surprise, surprise). Seth absolutely loves them and gets that whole face smile when he sees them. They, of course, can't get enough of him and are constantly asking if they can give him hugs and kisses. It has been really good for me to have them here with us. This OCD Mommy is learning a lot and having them here so I am not sitting alone in my thoughts has been just what I need. Although I look forward to my time alone with Seth again after Thanksgiving, I will also miss having them around. I'm sure there will be many play dates in our future!

Dada gave his first bottle the other night and he loved every second of it : ) Someone asked me the other day what my favorite part of being a mom so far was, other than the obvious - snuggles! I told them it was definitely breastfeeding. It's a very special time that I am so thankful Seth and I are able to have. I know if he had to be bottle fed or formula fed they would still be special moments, as I watched Jeremy and him have that the other night. I'm so glad that he will get this time with him every once in a while : ) After not having a bottle since he was a week old, I was a little nervous, but Seth acted like nothing was different!
