Jeremy and I became an Aunt and Uncle again for the 7th time when this precious little peanut made her debut into the world last night at 9:25 pm.

Welcome to the family Miss Annabelle!
(AKA - Belle)
Proud big brother, Reece
The whole happy family!!!
It's times like these I wish that I was "I dream a genie" and could just wiggle my nose and be anywhere I want! Can't wait to snuggle this little girl! We love you so much already!
It happened!
We had heard tales of it happening before, but we'd never seen it ourselves!
I know everyone up North thought it was hilarious how schools were closing, etc, but getting snow/ice in the South is a little different than it happening up there!
Jeremy enjoyed 2 and a half days off and had a 2-hour delay this morning and I also got 2 days off from work! We really didn't get much snow to speak of, but a fairly good amount of ice!
This is a photo of "my bridge" that got shut down!
Granted, I've been paying bills for years now. Car payment, car insurance, school loans, phone bill, etc. And being married has brought on even more, like rent, renters insurance, electric bill, etc.
But these were different.
These were unexpected. Or at least an unexpected amount.
These were bills from the hospital.
After I made phone calls upon phone calls to our insurance company, the hospital and a dozen others making sure I knew about each bill that was headed my way, I found myself with a huge headache. Where is this money going to come from and how to make sure this never happens again!? Which then led me into the terrible whirlwind of reading the most confusing book ever about our insurance and what it covers and what it doesn't cover. What do we pay for it? What would it cost us to upgrade? Would it really be worth it? What if we just switched to something different. What.....WHAT?!? Who is this person inside of me and where did she come from?!
First, I thank my parents who made me into the person I am, who isn't afraid to pick up the phone and call the necessary people to ask the necessary questions. I am so thankful for them.
While it would be awesome in many ways to still be there little girl, living in a carefree world with no responsibilities or worries, I then find myself thankful again.
Thankful that when my head is pounding, my heart is racing and no matter what answers the person on the other end of the phone gives me, I still don't have the answers to make my head and heart stop panicking, that My God is right there. Thankful that in that moment when the panic turns me to the only place I really should ever go, that He puts that perfect song on the radio.
He heard me. He knows. He's got this.
And then, when I continually fail to get those voices in my head (yup, I got em) to shut up, I find myself thankful for being a grown up. I'm thankful for the responsibilities that I have and the challenges that I face.
Because being a grown up means I get to be married.
He makes me a better me. He challenges me. He reminds me of Truth when I lose sight. Being his wife is everything joyous and wonderful. And although I may be biased, I'm pretty darn sure that I have got the best catch a girl could ever wish for.
My life certainly isn't perfect and tomorrow you may see me put something on Facebook that will make you say, "Wait, didn't you just say yesterday....", but I'm thankful for it. Everything in it. Good and bad.
God never said it would be easy, but He does promise to get us through anything that comes our way.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Last year we waited until we got back from NY to celebrate Christmas just the two of us. It was a lot more fun than squeezing it in with all of the other Christmas', so we did the same thing this year!
After driving all night Wednesday, we got in Thursday and did a lot of sleeping and unpacking, so we woke up Friday morning and started out "Christmas" the right way : )
The little stinker already knew what this one was....
Our "Friends" friends will understand this one : )
<3
Opening his last gift while enjoying his previous one ; )
This one started out to be a little confusing...
"12 Months of Christmas"
(AKA 12 Months of preplanned, prepaid date nights)
January = video game night!
Sadly, he only got to open January, but the rest of the year looks promising! : )
Then the little sweetheart....melted my heart like it was 2 years ago!
But then the little sweetheart, made me wait a few hours to get my next gift. He needed the help of our neighbor to bring it in so we had to wait for him to get home. Little did I know my gift had been waiting in the upstairs apartment for a month!
I screamed when I saw it!
All I wanted for Christmas this year was a bike!
I'm a little embarrassed to say that I even got a little sad thinking that I wasn't going to get it, but Jeremy told me that if I didn't, we could go out and get one after Christmas...what a stinker!
Ready for their futures together ; )
What a keeper <3 I love you baby!
Phew* I think this actually ends our holiday season!
Now I have to get creative with my posts again : )
