Triple D

 Thursday we had a lazy day. I actually can't remember leaving the hotel room, until it came time for dinner.

One of the things Jeremy wanted to do on our trip was check out some "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" locations, so we found this little spot down in Tampa...

We got a brew tour complete with samples and glasses...

 

This station is where the canning is done...

And they had these set into each table!

We didn't get the meatloaf that Guy Fieri suggested from that episode of the show, but we did start with the wings that he tried and their food was absolutely delicious!!!

But our evening isn't over....

After we had our fill at Busch Gardens (i'm pretty sure we stayed until they closed) we went back to the hotel to get ready and headed out for dinner. And we already had the perfect place picked out...

Kangaroos!

Busch Gardens had this whole little section you could go into to feed and pet kangaroos! They were super cute and it was so fun watching them jump around!

Although most of them were being lazy...

This little guy was just TOO cute!

& I'm so glad I caught this photo...

I always thought the pouch was bigger! But we learned that when the baby joey is born, they are only about 1 inch long! Then they have to crawl up the mothers body and get into the pouch where they drink and grow until they are big enough to come out! 1 inch?! How crazy!!!

Testing my limits...

Like I said in a previous post, I will pretty much get on any ride. Some may take some convincing, but i'll do it. Once I'm strapped in and going up that first hill, it's a whole other story!!!

This was the worst...

They hung you right there, hanging over the edge, for a few seconds before they just dropped you. I knew it was coming since we had watched others go while we were waiting in line. Once it was me hanging over that edge (and we were in the first row), I just kept screaming "I CAN'T DO THIS". The guy next to me said "Uh, it's too late..." And about that time, we dropped! LOL

 

This was part of the ride where the track hits the water and sprays behind the coaster and gets everyone around the ride wet!

Scary, but fun : )
I'm thankful Jeremy pushed my limits!

Busch Gardens

On Wednesday we left Orlando and headed to Tampa

Our first stop....

They had a lot more animals than I thought they would...

I'm not so sure this little guy should be hanging out with these big fellas! LOL

We really wanted to do this ride and get to feed the giraffes, but it was SO expensive!

It took us the longest time to find him....LOL

Someday, I will ride an elephant.... : )
