2 whole years

I can't believe my baby turned two yesterday. It doesn't feel like it's been anywhere near that long since he first came into this world and made me a Mommy! As I previously blogged, we celebrated with friends over the weekend so for his official big day, we took him to the Zoo! More on that later though : ) We are headed to the doctor in a couple hours for his well check, but I wanted to get a quick blog up of his birthday present festivities last night and share a bit about what our little man is up to these days.

He is talking up a storm. Jeremy and I keep waiting for him to just start spitting out full sentences one of these days. Most of it is his own language but there are many words there Jeremy and I know and many words that everyone would be able to interpret.

His ball of choice is certainly still a ball, but he has really started to enjoy his legos. He loves animals, books and being outside.

He will watch any cartoon, but Patrol is certainly ranked #1 these days. He is also fascinated with Disney movies and currently loves Frozen or Monsters Inc.

He thinks his bed is a trampoline. It is not abnormal for us to hear him jumping away 1-2 hours after we put him down. For this reason, we haven't transitioned him to a big boy bed yet.

He is OBSESSED with driving the car. Anytime we go anywhere he asks to drive and as long as he is a good boy, he gets to sit on Dada's lap and "drive" before our trip ends.

He is without a doubt 100% boy. He is intense with everything he does. But that includes how he loves and isn't too much of a boy to enjoy some Mommy snuggles or love on his baby brother - who he has decided is pretty cool and can stay in our family ; ) LOL

Okay, on to presents...

Thank you so much to everyone who called, skyped, sent videos, messages and presents! You each helped make his day even more special! Our big boy sure has grown this year!

And we love him so <3

  1. I love the marks on the door! Do you remember our marks in the playroom?
