After spending a week with my parents we headed out. We had planned on stopping to see my sister for a bit before we completely left for SC, so that made our 6th and final stop! Seth had been asking to see her "big puppy" since before we even left SC at the beginning of the trip, so he was beside himself and quite obsessed...

My parents came the next day so that we could all celebrate Dad's birthday together!
Since he was having surgery and had a while off work, we went in together and got him a 3 month subscription to Netflix!
We said our bittersweet goodbyes and headed down the road. This thumbs up didn't last long. After about 30 minutes we heard over and over and over again," All done in car".....
We split our trip up into two days and stayed the night in Virginia, but we got pretty lucky when during one of our lunch stops, Seth spotted this playground across the street. The boys were able to get all their wiggles out, have a picnic lunch and get ready for naptime in the car.
It has been SO good to be home and settled back into our routine. We have just a few more days with Dada before school starts again and we find another routine!
