This has no title...

I was supposed to post this yesterday but I completely forgot. This is kind of a silly blog post but it's also too long for facebook so, just go with it : ) 

A couple nights ago we were laying in bed watching 'Friends'. For my fellow 'Friends' addicts you will probably recognize this episode right away. One of the main characters, Monica, is sent home from work because she is sick but she refuses to believe that she actually is. She continually says, "I'm fine!" "I'm fine!" But since she is all congested it sound more like "I'm find!" "I'm find!" So I asked Jeremy why they were making it sound like when you have a cold you put D's on the end of things. Then I proceeded to plug my nose and try to say fine and then Jeremy did the same. I died laughing and could not stop. Then Jeremy leaned over and asked Seth if he was ready to come out and join our crazy family : )

Our new home!

I can't believe this is our third home since we have been married! I also can't believe this August will be our third year Anniversary! I also can't believe we will have a baby then! Time sure flies when you're having fun! We realized while moving that each time our parents come to see us we are in a new place LOL Hopefully that changes soon : ) 

So here it is! I should have taken pictures of it empty, but I didn't so...don't mind the mess. It already looks better than this and I will update once I get it a little more homey!

Being pregnant definitely made this move interesting. I am SO thankful that we had 4 dear friends come give us a hand in the process, so loading and un-loading only took about 2 and a half hours. Last night we put the furniture back together, got the bathroom unpacked and started the kitchen and bedroom. I wanted Jeremy to get our kitchen table put together, but then he asked me where the baggie of screws and such were that he needed...UHM?!?!? I remember putting them all in a baggie, I remember picking up the baggie, but where did I put the baggie??? I was SO mad at myself for not being able to remember. We tore open every box as I looked for some glimmer of a reminder. At least 20 minutes later Jeremy opened the drawer to our kitchen cabinet, pulled out the baggie and just starred at me. I died laughing. Yes! "I remember putting them in there because I thought it would be a great place for them to not get lost!" LOL The next three months may test his patience for my brain, but I sure do love him and all he is doing for Seth and I! 

Things to do!

Our move date is fast approaching (as in only 4 days left) and then I feel like I can be in full baby prep mode! Besides getting to set up the nursery there are some home projects that I have been putting off that I really want to finish before our little man arrives! 

We desperately need some end tables and I love these DIY trash cans!

I have so many pictures that I would love to have out but who wants to hang that many picture frames and then have the picture be horizontal when you need it to be vertical?! I love this solution!

I'm sure as a mom I will say this many more times as I have already said it a half dozen times during this pregnancy, but yesterday was one of the best days of my life. Our appointment was at 2:00 so the beginning of the day was hard to get through! I tossed and turned all night long and woke up feeling very anxious. This whole time we had been so excited to find out about the gender that I hadn't thought about everything else this appointment was about. So much more important stuff. By 12:00 my "Christmas belly" had officially set in and the iced caramel machiatto from Starbucks that my friend (so much more than my boss at this point) brought me, although delicious, was not helping! : ) I smiled the whole way to the appointment and was anxious to catch up with Jeremy. Once we got there I waddled into the office trying to not pee my pants (again with the coffee) and we anxiously waited in the waiting room! Luckily there was only one other person there when we got there so our wait was not long at all. Our ultrasound technician was so nice and talked us through the whole scan, as I'm sure they are supposed to do. She asked us if we were finding out the gender and that was one of the first things she went to find out. I knew almost immediately. Our little man was very cooperative in letting us know : ) I of course started crying and my eyes continued to leak through the whole appointment. Words cannot describe how it felt to both FEEL and SEE my little boy at the same time. I can't even imagine how those feelings will grow when I get to hold him in my arms. Jeremy went into the appointment really wanting a little girl, but as soon as the tech said it was a boy his eyes lit up. I knew exactly what he was thinking and after the appointment he confirmed his excitement of all the things he will get to enjoy doing with his son : ) As I said, our ultrasound technician was awesome. She talked us through each measurement and scan, the blood flow, etc. Everything is where it's supposed to be, measuring and growing as it should! He is measuring right on track at 21 weeks and is just shy of one pound - how crazy is that?! He is in the breech position but we have plenty of time for him to flip around. He LOVES to lay on my right side. I find him there every morning and that's where he was camped out for the whole scan. His heart rate was 133 and he likes to suck his thumb and play with his toes - could he be any cuter?

We love our little boy so much! I can't believe the next time we see him he'll be in my arms! Hurry up July <3

IT'S HERE!

The day is finally here! We've been waiting 16 weeks for this day and it's finally here. It seems completely crazy that we are already past the halfway mark of this pregnancy. 

Last time we saw our peanut we saw this...

...that was 12 weeks ago! We are so anxious to see how our little one has grown and find out whether we have a prince or princess on board! Please pray for a healthy scan and a cooperative baby!

Jamberry

I have been toying around with the idea of becoming an independent consultant with a direct sales company every since my sister starting selling Scentsy. At the beginning of the year I started seriously considering it and started looking into a few different companies. I loved each one as far as their product goes, but for a few different reasons I finally settled with Jamberry. I offically became a consultant in the middle of January and what a rush it's been! Who doesn't love working from home, making their own schedule and getting paid while doing it all - especially when it means you get to have great looking nails?! I know it has only been a little over 3 weeks, but what a blessing it has been already. It has pretty much just been extra money to put away for now but that extra bit keeps adding up and I know it's going to help out a ton for the things we need before baby arrives and even after. God has certainly blessed us in so many ways and I am so thankful that He brought Jamberry into my life and has allowed it to be such a blessing so far! A huge shoutout to everyone who has supported me in this endeavor!

What's new?

Hellooooo!
I'm sorry I've been so slack and haven't posted anything in the past two weeks. We haven't had TOO much news to post about, but I think I have a couple lined up for you guys for the time being! Just think, only 5 more months and I will have something someone to post about every day! : )

On that topic! We are now 18 weeks along - AKA 4.5 months!

I am not normally one to post a picture of my bare belly. Jeremy and I decided early on that all of my belly shots would be shirt down, but I woke up the other morning to this and couldn't even move for an hour or so. Can you find baby? : ) I can't even imagine how cute this little one will be when we get to meet him or her because they are already SO cute inside of me!
Everything has been going very smoothly! Up until the day before 18 weeks I didn't really have a bump and I was actually getting a little depressed and anxious for it, but the next morning I woke up and got that above picture, so I'm all better I think ; ) I have been struggling horribly with heartburn. It doesn't matter what I eat or what I do, I get it. I've been told that this means our little one will have a lot of hair, so we will see! LOL We go in for our next appointment on Monday and then two short weeks later we will found out whether we will have a mister or misses!

A week and a half after that unforgettable day we will be moving! Two months before we found out we were pregnant we signed our yearly lease at our current apartment. I KNEW we shouldn't of done it, but we did. We were under the impression that breaking your lease was one month's rent, so we figured we could pull that off and started discussing other apartments and possibly even houses! Well, when I went and talked to our office about this I was informed that it was not one month's rent when you break your lease, it was a $1500 fee. This is a huge chunk greater than our monthly rent and not really an option for us, so we went back to the drawing board. We had some different options and pursued a few of them before we remembered a while back we had went and visited some "sister" apartment locations in Charleston, closer to our church. We went and looked at them again and talked with our office and we are able to simply transfer our lease from our current apartment over to the new one! Praise the Lord! So, that's the plan for now! We move in March 7th and I am so excited! I dread the actual process of moving and haven't even begun starting to pack, but once we are actually there I can start setting up the baby room - and boy won't that be fun! : ) Right now our kitchen is completely overrun with things. We scored a kitchen table off of a garage sale website so that is sitting in there, taken apart. We have our crib and dresser in there with a bunch of other baby things including a couple bags of baby/maternity clothes! All such blessings, but it will be great to get into our bigger place : )

Other than that there isn't too much new or exciting going on. We will be headed to NY at the end of March to see family and have a couple showers, so that is very exciting. Work is going great for both Jeremy and I. I am blessed to have the job that I do. They have already told me that I will have the summer off for maternity leave which is such a blessing, especially since Jeremy does as well. I know we will be busy with family coming into town and having our little one join the world, but what a blessing to have that time together without having to throw work in the mix, or the headache of requesting time off and having your boss throw you a guilt trip! The Lord definitely had his hand in me getting this job - surprise, I know ; )
