Christmas day/evening ~

Christmas afternoon we spent with the Thomas side of the family and Christmas evening we spend with the Van Brocklin side of the family - of course, I either didn't bring my camera or didn't take any pictures, so here are some professional shots that I stole from my sister-in-law Amanda (our wedding photographer : )
from our fun times!

Absolutely L.O.V.E this shot

I dragged (literally) my mom along for Christmas evening up at camp because my dad was working & as Cindy Lou Who (or Amanda and I) would say: "Noone should be alone on Christmas!"

Amanda set up a little "photo booth" with fun hats and such for pictures...

<3

...we're almost done, I promise! LOL One more Christmas in NY, then one in SC...and then it's off to other posts! : )

Christmas morning ~

Even though i'm not a little kid anymore, I still love that feeling you get when you go to bed on Christmas Eve, & I still love to get up early to open presents first thing in the morning. So, we spent Christmas morning with my parents doing just that : )

Fruit ninja & Monopoly Millionaire

Jeremy & I made Mom & Dad a frame that says "All that we are, all that we hope to be, we owe to our loving parents" with our wedding date and a picture.

This was a repose because I was too slow to get the original LOL

From the song "These are a few of my favorite things" - Dad got her candle votives that say all the different things on them.

So, when we celebrated Christmas on Saturday, Mom mislabeled a present and gave Liz this "Book of Burger" that was supposed to be for Jeremy. So - he saw it then....

....but really got it Christmas morning ; )

With every present Mom & Dad opened they yelled at each other because, like every year, they weren't supposed to get each other anything : P

Usually, Dad picks up the trash as each present is opened. One year, I think we picked on him about it, so it isn't done anymore ; )

....more to come!

Christmas with the Geiger's

On Saturday morning we headed over to my parents where my brother, sister-in-law, sister, brother-in-law, nieces and parents were waiting 'not so patiently' for us. Apparently my mom was starring out the window waiting for us and when she saw us she screamed so loud that everyone thought that something was wrong. LOL It was SO good to get that hug from her <3 long overdue. Since that was the one full day we were all going to be together we decided we would celebrate Christmas then. So we got all of our stuff in, wrapped presents quickly and went at it!

I made the girls "travel while it's hott" hair straightener holders by sewing together an oven mit on three sides...

& earrings out of paper clips and string! : )

My girls <3

Mom's homemade snowman from Sarah

Jonathan got a really cool star made out of rulers from Mom & Dad

Jeremy made a new friend

I made Doug a "back rub for life" by drawing a road map on the back of a t-shirt for the girls to drive their cars on!

My brothers and sisters and I used to watch this when we were little. Such a great kids movie! When I found it at Target this year I just had to get it for all of the little ones in my life : )

The girls got "steppers" from Mom & Dad - super cool!

: )

I think this was Madalyn's favorite present. She LOVES frogs, especially tree frogs. Meet Frizzle (although I think that should be Madalyn's name in this picture LOL)

Madalyn gave me a present of rocks that I think she took out of her own collection. My very own Quartz! : ) & of course Frizzle had to be in the picture too - I think his name changed a few times while we were there, I can't remember what it ended up being.

Jeremy & I made the girls lego trays with their names on them - they were a pretty big hit!

Apparently it was cold : )

One Christmas down, 5 to go!
