Our first day back was the Friday before Christmas. My parents were both working and my brother and sister weren't going to be in town until later that evening so we decided we would head on over to the Thomas'. His mom was home and his dad came in only a few minutes after we did, but we didn't last long before we wanted to get some sleep after driving 19 hours straight through (most of that credit goes to Jeremy, of course). When we woke up Ryan, Amanda & Reece were there. Reece didn't know that we were coming home so it was pretty priceless to see his reaction. We came up the stairs and stood there for a minute for him to see us and then he kinda just sat there like a deer in headlights. Jeremy's mom asked him who we were and he said "That's Uncle Jeremy, he's my best friend" (which is his new favorite thing to say and one of the cutest things ever). It took him a minute to warm up to us but then it was all fun and games. Of course, that's all I got pictures of, so here they are!
